Audit Logs in AI-Console
Feature Release
This is the announcement for an upcoming ASAPP feature. Your ASAPP account team will provide a target release date and can direct you to more detailed information as needed.
Overview
Audit logs enable administrators to review configuration changes made in AI-Console for AI Services and ASAPP Messaging.
Use and Impact
By using audit logs, administrators have a historical overview of the configuration changes made to ASAPP services by their organization members. This feature provides control and visibility for administrators by recording all changes made through AI-Console - what is being updated, when, and by whom.
Using records with exact timestamps and users associated with every change, administrators can use audit logs to:
- See the most recent changes made to every ASAPP product.
- Investigate a particular historical change associated with a deployment.
- Review activity for a given user or product over the course of weeks or months.
How It Works
Watch the following video walkthrough to learn about audit logs:
Administrators can log in to AI-Console and navigate to Audit Logs to access the logs. By default, the audit logs page displays all records chronologically.
Audit logs are displayed in a table with the following values:
- User: The user that made the change.
- Event Type: The action made to the resource type. Supported values are CREATE, DEPLOY, UNDEPLOY, UPDATE, and DELETE.
- Resource Type: The type of the modified resource. For example,
link
. - Resource Name: The name of the resource being updated. For example,
linkName
. - Timestamp: The UTC timestamp of the change.
