AutoSummary for Salesforce
Feature Release
This is the announcement for an upcoming ASAPP feature. Your ASAPP account team will provide a target release date and can direct you to more detailed information as needed.
Overview
ASAPP is extending our existing native plug-in for Salesforce to enable rapid implementations of AutoSummary. With this plug-in, Salesforce administrators will be able to install AutoSummary to their Salesforce organization and centrally configure the distribution of summaries into Lightning.
Use and Impact
For contact centers that use Salesforce Service Cloud Lightning, the AutoSummary plug-in is a low-code, rapid implementation option. Administrators can complete set up in hours and quickly deploy summarization capabilities in their production workflows without resource-intensive integration work.
With AutoSummary enabled, agents no longer need to take extensive notes summarizing events during the call.
A free-text summary is sent to a Salesforce field to be saved automatically the conversation record.
AutoSummary works seamlessly alongside ASAPP’s AutoCompose for Salesforce.
How It Works
Watch the video below for an overview on AutoSummary for Salesforce:
Configuration
Upon installing the AutoSummary package, administrators can select the user profiles for whom AutoSummary should be enabled.
Agent Experience
Once a call ends, AutoSummary will immediately generate a free-text summary and insert it into the pre-specified object field configured in the Service Console. Free-text summaries will appear as a set of sentences that describe key events during the conversation.
Summaries can be configured to include labels for sentences to indicate which correspond to the reason for contact, resolution steps taken by the agent, and result of the conversation. Reach out to your ASAPP account team to configure this.
Any edits to the summary content by an agent will be tracked by ASAPP and used to improve future summary quality.
